Ian Matsikenyeri vs Billy Methema

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Harare Mhlanga, Harare,  taking place on 08/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Matsikenyeri (2 - 11 - 1) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Billy Methema(10 - 10(2) - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Matsikenyeri weighed in at 174 pounds And 11 ounces, while Methema weighed in at 174 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Colin Kabweza, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Mubako, Michael Chipeta and Matt Thorburn.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Methema.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Matsikenyeri advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Methema pivots from in front of his opponent.  Matsikenyeri is on target with a right hook.  Matsikenyeri throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Methema to the neutral corner.  He warns Matsikenyeri to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.
