Martien Haarhoff vs Jevonte Sono

Boxing Daily Report from the Soweto Punch Pros promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 17/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Martien Haarhoff (8(3) - 0) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Jevonte Sono(25(1) - 14(4) - 2) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Haarhoff and Sono weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Jali, David Khumalo and Here Van Heerden.  

Round 1: 

Haarhoff hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Haarhoff manages to force Sono into the corner.  Haarhoff lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Haarhoff closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sono quickly recovers. 
Haarhoff digs in a sharp right uppercut to Sono's body.  
Sono lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sono switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Haarhoff pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Haarhoff pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Haarhoff manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Haarhoff sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sono's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sono's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sono's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Haarhoff finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Haarhoff closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into Sono's body.  
Haarhoff is on target with a firm left hook to Sono's body.  
Haarhoff advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Haarhoff lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Haarhoff attempts to land a left hook, but Sono parries the shot and counters with a cross.
