Bruce Mkwananzi vs Ian Fourie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Mtukudzi, Bulawayo,  taking place on 11/10/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Mkwananzi (43(19) - 13(6)) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Ian Fourie(4 - 0) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Mkwananzi and Fourie weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Shamuyarira, and the three ringside judges are Mark Nyambuya, Jack Shamuyarira and Noah Chipendo.  

Round 1: 

Fourie advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Mkwananzi's liver.  
Mkwananzi steps to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Fourie tries to land a right hook, but Mkwananzi blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mkwananzi switches the action to the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Fourie gets on the inside and walks Mkwananzi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fourie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fourie throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fourie drives a left hook into Mkwananzi's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
