Cris Cobo vs Yago Medrano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Santiago de Cuba promoted show at Santiago de Cuba Quesada, Santiago de Cuba,  taking place on 13/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cris Cobo (9(6) - 2) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Yago Medrano(9 - 11(3) - 1) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Cobo weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Medrano weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Vizcaino, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Yanez, Tajo Alaniz and Juan Sahagun.

Cobo manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Cobo digs in a left uppercut to Medrano's body.  
Cobo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Cobo lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Cobo drives a right hook into Medrano's ribcage.  
Cobo forces Medrano to back into the corner.  Cobo connects with a left hook.  
Cobo feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Medrano could be stopped here, if Cobo can find the right shot!  Cobo lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MEDRANO!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Medrano now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Cobo drives a stinging right hook into Medrano's body.  
Medrano throws a left hook, but Cobo clinches his opponent.  Cobo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cobo pushes his forearm into Medrano's face.  The referee warns Cobo and breaks the clinch.  
Cobo lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cobo drives a left hook into Medrano's body.  
Medrano closes the distance.  Cobo is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.
