Jay Bonnie vs Theo Sayer

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Fair Expo Center Sunshine Pavilion, Miami,  taking place on 10/11/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Bonnie (13(8) - 0) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Theo Sayer(25(8) - 12(2) - 4) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Bonnie and Sayer weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Huntress, and the three ringside judges are Max Merrick, Sean Carmona and Oliver Mirando.  

Round 1: 

Sayer lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Sayer throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sayer is on target with a jab.  
Bonnie lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bonnie steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but Sayer sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sayer is looking to close the distance.  Bonnie lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bonnie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bonnie lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Sayer forces Bonnie to back into the ropes.  Bonnie is on target with a left uppercut to Sayer's body.  
Bonnie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sayer hits home with an overhand left.  
Sayer hits home with a cross.  
Sayer gets on the inside.  Sayer attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Bonnie to the neutral corner.  He warns Sayer that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.  
Sayer manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sayer pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bonnie tries to land a jab, but Sayer dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sayer sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bonnie hits home with a stinging jab.  
Bonnie advances into close range.  Sayer drives a right hook into Bonnie's body.  
Bonnie gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Bonnie steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Sayer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bonnie throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bonnie digs in a solid right hook to Sayer's ribcage.  
Sayer manages to force Bonnie onto the ropes.  Bonnie lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bonnie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sayer digs in a right uppercut to Bonnie's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bonnie's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sayer's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
