Jamie Mulligan vs Noel Mbognou

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham,  taking place on 11/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jamie Mulligan (19(17) - 2(2)) who hails from Swindon, UK and Noel Mbognou(15(9) - 2(1)) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Mulligan and Mbognou weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alexander McClenny, and the three ringside judges are Harry Seward, Rob Law and Rob Irwin.  

Round 1: 

Mbognou gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Mbognou attempts to land a right hook, but Mulligan blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Mulligan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Mulligan attempts to land a jab, but Mbognou sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Mbognou throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
