Pedro Merino vs Santiago Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the Chigaga Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Rodriguez Gym, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 17/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pedro Merino (4 - 8 - 1) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Santiago Malara(20(2) - 8(1) - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Merino weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces, while Malara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Rosero, and the three ringside judges are Juan Rosero, Angel Giron and Alejandro Bermudez.
