Fionn Kelly vs Ken MacKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at Dublin Higgins, Dublin,  taking place on 22/10/2040:

Clearly All Talk Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fionn Kelly (4(3) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ken MacKenzie(3 - 3 - 2) from Aberdeen, UK.  Kelly weighed in at 105 pounds, while MacKenzie weighed in at 104 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joshua McColl, and the three ringside judges are Paul Healy, Billy Ruane and Lee Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Kelly closes the distance and connects with a solid right hook.  
MacKenzie steps away from his opponent.  Kelly is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Kelly steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
MacKenzie switches the action to the outside.  Kelly lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Kelly advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Kelly holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kelly pushes his forearm into MacKenzie's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacKenzie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kelly lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kelly pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Kelly hits home with a solid right hook.  
MacKenzie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kelly lands with a stinging jab.  
MacKenzie switches the action to the outside.  Kelly lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Kelly gets on the inside.  Kelly is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  As Kelly tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacKenzie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
MacKenzie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kelly lands a straight 1 - 2.  
MacKenzie connects with a left hook.  
Kelly steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Kelly holds on to his opponent.  Kelly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacKenzie tries to keep the action at long range.  Kelly lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kelly finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Kelly closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Kelly lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Kelly connects with a right uppercut.  
Kelly lands a solid left hook.  
Kelly closes the distance.  Kelly lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to MacKenzie.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Kelly hits home with a solid jab.  
Kelly gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  Kelly clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kelly pushes his forearm into MacKenzie's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kelly hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kelly lands a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacKenzie's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  MacKenzie's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  MacKenzie's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  MacKenzie's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

MacKenzie cuts off the ring, trapping Kelly on the ropes.  Kelly throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Kelly steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Kelly thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put MacKenzie away.  Kelly lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MACKENZIE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Kelly lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MACKENZIE DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but MacKenzie cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kelly!
