Leonardo Buelna vs Urvano Monterrosa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Valle del Cauca promoted show at Cali Cuadrado, Cali,  taking place on 22/10/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Buelna (20(17) - 0) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Urvano Monterrosa(13 - 14(1) - 7) from Cali, Colombia.  Both Buelna and Monterrosa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Frisco Rodriguez, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Bazan, Angel Manjarrez and Carlos Arabia.  

Round 1: 

Buelna steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body. Buelna tries to land an overhand left, but Monterrosa blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Buelna is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Buelna clinches his opponent.  Buelna uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Monterrosa behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Buelna to stop fouling.

Buelna manages to force Monterrosa into the blue corner.  Buelna lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Buelna clinches his opponent.  Buelna is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Buelna's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Buelna lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING MONTERROSA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Buelna is on target with a solid right uppercut to Monterrosa's body.  
Buelna lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Monterrosa switches the action to the outside.  Buelna lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Monterrosa throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.

Buelna walks his opponent into a corner.  Buelna drives a firm right hook into Monterrosa's body.  
Buelna lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Buelna digs in a left uppercut to Monterrosa's ribs.  
Monterrosa throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Buelna clinches his opponent.  Buelna leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
