Kieran Cowper vs Matt Dorch

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at County Coliseum, El Paso,  taking place on 15/12/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Cowper (23(20) - 1(1)) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Matt Dorch(38(32) - 2(1)) from Ottawa, Canada.  Cowper weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Dorch weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Morgans, and the three ringside judges are Robert Corfield, Paul Speed and Ellis Girvan.  

Round 1: 

Cowper connects with a stinging left uppercut.

Cowper tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Dorch closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Dorch is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Cowper's body.  
Cowper steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Dorch closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Dorch digs in a right hook to Cowper's ribcage.

Dorch gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dorch steps away from his opponent.  Cowper lands a jab.  
Dorch gets on the inside and manouvers Cowper onto the ropes.  Dorch lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dorch is on target with a left uppercut to Cowper's body.  
Cowper switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Cowper lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cowper lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Cowper hits home with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cowper's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cowper's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.  Dorch's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dorch's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Cowper connects with a WICKED cross.  DORCH IS HURT!  
Dorch steps inside.  Cowper sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Cowper lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING DORCH DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Cowper is looking to keep his distance.  Cowper lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DORCH IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Dorch now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Cowper lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DORCH IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Cowper!
