Boxing Daily Report from the Bobby Saunders promoted show at Hermitage Leisure Centre, Leicester,  taking place on 10/10/2040:

Clearly Bobby Saunders have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Still (5(2) - 0) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Leon Smyth(20 - 16(7) - 1 - 1(NC)) from London, UK.  Still weighed in at 251 pounds, while Smyth weighed in at 232 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brian Hall, and the three ringside judges are John Fate, Dale Garrett and Ian Lewis.

Smyth manages to force Still into the corner.  Still throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Smyth advances into close range.  Smyth drives a left hook into Still's body.  Smyth throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Still time to recover.

Smyth advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook.  Smyth throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left uppercut.  SMYTH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Still senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Still lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Smyth now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Still's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Smyth's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Smyth's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Still lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS SMYTH DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Smyth is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Still!
