Silvestro Gianfrancesco vs Luigi Capodicasa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mankattah Promotions promoted show at Turin Catania, Turin,  taking place on 25/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Silvestro Gianfrancesco (10 - 18 - 5) who hails from Turin, Italy and Luigi Capodicasa(6(1) - 1) from Turin, Italy.  Gianfrancesco weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Capodicasa weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tino Lamberti, and the three ringside judges are Gianluigi Guttuso, Dino Zanotti and Rocco Mazzocchi.  

Round 1: 

Capodicasa advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into Gianfrancesco's ribs.

Capodicasa lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Capodicasa forces Gianfrancesco to retreat onto the ropes.  Capodicasa pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gianfrancesco almost instantly recovers. 
Capodicasa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Capodicasa digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Capodicasa digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gianfrancesco's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Gianfrancesco's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Gianfrancesco's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Round 2: 

Capodicasa gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Capodicasa sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Capodicasa slams a hurtful left hook into his opponents body.  GIANFRANCESCO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Gianfrancesco now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Capodicasa closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Capodicasa is on target with a forceful right hook to Gianfrancesco's body.  GIANFRANCESCO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Capodicasa wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gianfrancesco dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Capodicasa is on target with a right hook.  
Capodicasa crashes a mean right hook to Gianfrancesco's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GIANFRANCESCO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Capodicasa stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Capodicasa lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND GIANFRANCESCO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Gianfrancesco has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Capodicasa advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Capodicasa lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Capodicasa ties up his opponent.  Capodicasa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Capodicasa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Gianfrancesco quickly recovers. 
Capodicasa gets on the inside.  Capodicasa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Capodicasa closes the distance and whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  GIANFRANCESCO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Capodicasa holds on to his opponent.  Capodicasa pushes his forearm into Gianfrancesco's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Capodicasa digs in a right uppercut to Gianfrancesco's ribcage.  
Capodicasa lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gianfrancesco almost instantly recovers. 
Capodicasa digs in a right hook to Gianfrancesco's body.

Capodicasa is looking to force the stoppage!  Capodicasa lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND GIANFRANCESCO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Gianfrancesco gets on the inside.  Capodicasa is on target with a HUGE right hook.  GIANFRANCESCO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Capodicasa lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS GIANFRANCESCO TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Gianfrancesco cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Capodicasa!
