Jun Miura vs Hiro Matsushima

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Kazuhiko Miura Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 27/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Miura (8 - 16(1) - 6) who hails from Toyota, Japan and Hiro Matsushima(5 - 4(1) - 4) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Miura and Matsushima weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Ishimoto, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Matsui, Raiden Sando and Hideki Kawasaki.  

Round 1: 

Matsushima lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Matsushima closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Matsushima is on target with a left hook to Miura's ribs.  
Matsushima sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Matsushima forces Miura to back into a corner.  Matsushima pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Matsushima advances into close range and forces Miura to back into the blue corner.  Matsushima throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Miura's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Matsushima's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
