Nathan Cadenhead vs Orlando Barretto

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/01/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nathan The Machine Cadenhead (35(31) - 3) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Orlando Barretto(37(18) - 20(17)) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Cadenhead weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Barretto weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Purcell, and the three ringside judges are William Shawn, Gethin Jasmin and Blake Travis.  

Round 1: 

Cadenhead steps to the outside.  Barretto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Barretto attempts to land a jab, but Cadenhead blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Barretto advances into close range.  Cadenhead sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barretto lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep his distance.  Barretto attempts to land a cross, but Cadenhead slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Barretto throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Cadenhead tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Barretto hits home with an overhand left.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!

Cadenhead is looking to keep his distance.  Barretto tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  BARRETTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barretto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Barretto gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Barretto finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Barretto advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Barretto is on target with a jab.  
Cadenhead sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cadenhead tries to land a right hook, but Barretto sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cadenhead is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cadenhead throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Some sustained pressure from Cadenhead could be enough to finish Barretto!  Cadenhead lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BARRETTO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Barretto now seems to have got his legs back.  
Barretto is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Barretto throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a big left hook.  BARRETTO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barretto's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Barretto's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
