Peter Dower vs Dave Hovey

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 17/11/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Put Em Down Peter Dower (9(5) - 0) who hails from Santa Rosa, USA and Dave Hovey(28 - 12(2)) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Dower and Hovey weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Purse, and the three ringside judges are Alano Gimenez, Cole Ghant and Vince Wood.  

Round 1: 

Dower advances into close range and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Hovey tries to land a cross, but Dower blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Hovey hits home with a solid cross.  Hovey throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dower gets on the inside.  Hovey lands a left uppercut.  
Dower is looking to close the distance.  Dower sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hovey walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Hovey lands a firm cross.  
Dower is looking to close the distance.  Dower quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Dower lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dower advances into close range.  Dower quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Hovey pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Dower pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Dower lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Dower pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Dower sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Dower lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS HOVEY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Dower crashes a spiteful left hook to Hovey's ribs.  HOVEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Dower lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES HOVEY!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Hovey now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
