Justin Burgess vs Theo Veatch

Boxing Daily Report from the Greedy Promotions promoted show at Raven Gym, Macon,  taking place on 28/10/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Justin Burgess (4(1) - 0) who hails from Augusta, USA and Theo Veatch(6 - 14 - 3) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Burgess and Veatch weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Rodgers, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Walker, Arnie Curtis and Chris Wigton.  

Round 1: 

Burgess gets on the inside and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Burgess advances into close range and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Burgess advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Burgess ties up his opponent.  Burgess leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Burgess's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Burgess digs in a sharp right uppercut to Veatch's ribs.

Burgess lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Veatch throws a left hook, but Burgess clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Veatch has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Veatch is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Burgess feints a left hook, and then hits home with an overhand right.  
Burgess feints a cross, but Veatch is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Burgess lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Burgess closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Burgess digs in a sharp right hook to Veatch's body.  Burgess tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Veatch's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Veatch's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Veatch's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Burgess advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Veatch connects with a right uppercut.  
Burgess forces Veatch to back into the corner.  Burgess pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.

Veatch backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Burgess accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Veatch.  
Burgess closes the distance.  Burgess pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Burgess is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Burgess crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Veatch's body.  DOWN GOES VEATCH!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Veatch has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Burgess lands a cross to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Burgess steps inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Veatch almost instantly gets his legs back.
