Jamie Whitehead vs Ricky Nelsen

Boxing Daily Report from the Sarkodee Promotions promoted show at Minneapolis Lamont, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Whitehead (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ricky Nelsen(24(5) - 9 - 1) from Saint Paul, USA.  Whitehead weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nelsen weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Genz, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Langer, Stephen Quinn and Phil Bertel.  

Round 1: 

Nelsen is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
