Gareth Milland vs Jacob Evens

Boxing Daily Report from the Global Boxing Promotion promoted show at Leeds Handyside, Leeds,  taking place on 06/11/2040:

Clearly Global Boxing Promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Milland (7 - 8 - 2) who hails from Huddersfield, UK and Jacob Evens(30(1) - 14(3) - 2) from Carlisle, UK.  Milland weighed in at 140 pounds and 11 ounces, while Evens weighed in at 140 pounds.    As Milland came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is James McCarthy, and the three ringside judges are Peter Crumlish, Brin Mickel and Glynn James.
