Mark Angus vs William MacGill

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Prichard, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Angus (19 - 21(2) - 4) who hails from Durham, USA and William MacGill(7 - 5(2) - 1) from Greensboro, USA.  Angus weighed in at 147 pounds, while MacGill weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Farm, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Armstrong, Paul Gath and Clinton Gide.  

Round 1: 

Angus is looking to close the distance.  MacGill is on target with a right hook.  
MacGill steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Angus blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Angus closes the distance.  MacGill quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
MacGill is on target with an overhand right.  
MacGill hits home with a cross.  
Angus lands a cross.  
Angus throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Angus's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Angus's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Angus closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
MacGill is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
Angus gets on the inside.  MacGill lands a right uppercut.  As MacGill tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Angus has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
MacGill tries to land a cross, but Angus blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
MacGill steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Angus is on target with a cross.  
Angus closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to MacGill.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Angus steps inside and connects with a right uppercut.  
Angus tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Angus steps inside.  MacGill is on target with a right hook.

Angus pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Angus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.
