Gennady Oshchepkov vs Dimi Markow

Boxing Daily Report from the Ring star promoted show at Yubileyny Sports Palace, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 22/12/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Gennady Oshchepkov (16 - 0 - 1) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Dimi Markow(11 - 16 - 4) from Omsk, Russia.  Both Oshchepkov and Markow weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Melor Sadowski, and the three ringside judges are Aleksandr Melantev, Lazar Savin and Mikhail Kanunnikov.
