Elis Lagergren vs Jack Persson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Sweden-Vastra Gotaland promoted show at Gothenburg Orell, Gothenburg,  taking place on 30/10/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Sweden-Vastra Gotaland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elis Lagergren (13(10) - 5) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Jack Persson(2 - 8(1) - 1) from Gothenburg, Sweden.  Both Lagergren and Persson weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elias Flodin, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Sando, Elias Flodin and Joel Ahlquist.  

Round 1: 

Lagergren gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  Lagergren ties up his opponent.  Lagergren is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lagergren's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Persson walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Lagergren lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lagergren is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lagergren sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Persson attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lagergren sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Persson pivots to the right of his opponent.  Persson attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lagergren blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Lagergren is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lagergren connects with a CRUSHING right uppercut.  PERSSON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Persson recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
