Inigo Nicholson vs Brett Haw

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Chicago Dewey, Chicago,  taking place on 04/11/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Nicholson (44(26) - 10(3) - 1) who hails from Chicago, USA and Brett Haw(9 - 4) from Chicago, USA.  Both Nicholson and Haw weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Valentine, and the three ringside judges are Alen Valentine, Vince Regan and Rob Dockter.  

Round 1: 

Nicholson digs in a firm left uppercut to Haw's body.  
Nicholson steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  Nicholson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicholson pushes his forearm into Haw's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nicholson to stop fouling.  
Nicholson hits home with a cross.  
Nicholson steps inside and digs in a left hook to Haw's body.  Nicholson clinches his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HAW TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Nicholson holds on to his opponent.  Nicholson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Haw almost instantly recovers. 
Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Haw tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAW WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Haw recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nicholson advances into close range and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nicholson is looking to close the distance.  Nicholson pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Nicholson could be enough to finish Haw!  Nicholson drives a telling left uppercut into his opponents body.  HAW IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Nicholson is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent using all his weight. Nicholson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Haw behind the head. 
Nicholson senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Nicholson slams a hurtful right uppercut into his opponents body.  HAW HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Haw now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Nicholson lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Haw quickly recovers. 
Nicholson drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Nicholson forces Haw to retreat onto the ropes.  Nicholson lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nicholson lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Nicholson is on target with a solid left hook to Haw's body.  
Nicholson lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Nicholson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nicholson closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Nicholson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nicholson lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Haw quickly recovers.

Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS HAW TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Nicholson is on target with a firm left hook to Haw's ribs.  
Nicholson walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Nicholson lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Haw recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Haw's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Haw's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Nicholson manouvers Haw into the corner.  Nicholson sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING HAW DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Nicholson drives a telling right hook into his opponents body.  HAW HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Nicholson stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Nicholson crashes a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut to Haw's ribs.  HAW IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE HAW THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nicholson!
