Sam Coates vs Matewa Hokianga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Pennison, Christchurch,  taking place on 11/11/2040:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Coates (4 - 2 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Matewa Hokianga(3 - 4 - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Coates weighed in at 118 pounds And 9 ounces, while Hokianga weighed in at 118 pounds.    As Coates came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Corey Stobie, and the three ringside judges are Kahorere Keno, Harry Callison and Dave Pera.
