Peter Trott vs Clint Leckie

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Moxy Dublin City, Dublin,  taking place on 29/10/2040:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Peter Trott (1(1) - 0) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Clint Leckie(17 - 6(3) - 1) from Olathe, USA.  Trott weighed in at 147 pounds, while Leckie weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leon McPeters, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Will Nolan and Michael Sloan.  

Round 1: 

Trott sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Trott hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Trott drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Leckie closes the distance and walks Trott into the blue corner.  Trott lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Leckie lands a cross.  Leckie throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leckie is on target with a cross.  Leckie throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leckie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Leckie tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Trott lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Trott steps to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Trott is on target with a potent right hook to Leckie's ribcage.  LECKIE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Trott steps away from his opponent and is on target with a nasty overhand left.  LECKIE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Trott senses Leckie is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Trott lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS LECKIE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Leckie has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Trott finds the target with a jab.  
Trott lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Trott tries to land a jab, but Leckie slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Trott finds the target with a jab.  
Leckie tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Trott switches the action to the outside and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Leckie lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Leckie closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Trott parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Leckie attempts to land a right uppercut, but Trott dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leckie's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Leckie's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Trott switches the action to the outside.  Trott sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Leckie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Leckie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Trott hits home with a sharp cross.  
Leckie tries to land a jab, but Trott slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL cross.  LECKIE IS HURT!  
Trott pivots from in front of his opponent.  Trott throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Trott steps to the outside.  Trott knows Leckie is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Trott SLAMS a VICIOUS right uppercut into his opponents face.  LECKIE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Leckie now seems to have got his legs back.  
Trott lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Trott tries to land a cross, but Leckie sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Trott steps away from his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Trott tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Trott is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Leckie walks Trott down, trapping him on the ropes.  Trott lands two right hook's to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Trott is looking to keep his distance.  Leckie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Trott lands a spiteful jab.  
Trott lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Trott lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Trott switches the action to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Trott lands a big cross.  LECKIE IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Trott!
