Joaquin Cevallos vs Rico Quintanar

Boxing Daily Report from the Lusungo Promotions promoted show at Ryo Renderos Gym, La Paz,  taking place on 16/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Cevallos (7 - 5) who hails from El Alto, Bolivia and Rico Quintanar(18 - 16 - 1) from La Paz, Bolivia.  Both Cevallos and Quintanar weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montana Natal, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Quintanar, Francisco Tomey and Guillermo Sierra.  

Round 1: 

Cevallos lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Cevallos closes the distance.  Quintanar throws a left uppercut, but Cevallos clinches his opponent.  Cevallos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Cevallos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
