Atif Thomson vs Waqar Merouane

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Oran promoted show at Oran Saadia, Oran,  taking place on 17/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Oran Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Atif Thomson (7 - 8 - 3) who hails from Oran, Algeria and Waqar Merouane(6 - 9 - 2) from Oran, Algeria.  Thomson weighed in at 125 pounds And 7 ounces, while Merouane weighed in at 126 pounds And 8 ounces.    As Merouane came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Bakhai, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Djouad, Asif Salem and Imran Kerbouche.
