Kurtis Verdor vs Rolfe Ziegenheim

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Austria-Styria promoted show at Graz Dessewffy, Graz,  taking place on 17/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria-Styria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kurtis Verdor (3 - 6 - 1) who hails from Graz, Austria and Rolfe Ziegenheim(3 - 0) from Graz, Austria.  Verdor weighed in at 159 pounds And 4 ounces, while Ziegenheim weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bamey Haldenwang, and the three ringside judges are Hobbard Zin, Eckerd Hanisch and Wendall Yeprem.  

Round 1: 

Ziegenheim gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ziegenheim holds on to his opponent.  Ziegenheim uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Verdor behind the head. Ziegenheim is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ziegenheim about fouling.  
Ziegenheim closes the distance.  Verdor throws a left hook, but Ziegenheim clinches his opponent.  Verdor leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ziegenheim throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Verdor steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Ziegenheim lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Ziegenheim digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ziegenheim closes the distance and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Verdor tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Ziegenheim is looking to close the distance and forces Verdor to retreat into a corner.  Ziegenheim digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  As Verdor tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ziegenheim dabs at his face checking for damage.
