Edmundo Rama vs Loredo Arvelo

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Sao Paulo Teixeira, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 18/11/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Sao Paulo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Rama (7(5) - 0) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Loredo Arvelo(30 - 13(1) - 4) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Rama weighed in at 134 pounds And 14 ounces, while Arvelo weighed in at 135 pounds And 13 ounces.    As Arvelo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jose Pereyra, and the three ringside judges are Xalvador Lindo, Rodrigo Paiva and Vidal Raposa.  

Round 1: 

Rama advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Rama holds on to his opponent.  Rama pushes his forearm into Arvelo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rama digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rama lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rama clinches his opponent.  Rama pushes his forearm into Arvelo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rama to stop fouling.  
Arvelo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rama hits home with a stinging right hook.  Rama clinches his opponent.  Rama is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rama.  
Rama walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Rama lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rama lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arvelo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rama lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rama lands a left hook.  
Rama advances into close range and forces Arvelo to retreat into the blue corner.  Rama lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arvelo almost instantly recovers. 
Arvelo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rama lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rama lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Arvelo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Arvelo is looking to keep his distance.  Rama is on target with a jab.  
Rama is looking to close the distance and walks Arvelo down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Rama lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rama is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Rama clinches his opponent.  Rama is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Arvelo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rama dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Rama connects with a sharp left hook.  
Rama walks his opponent into a corner.  Rama is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rama sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rama drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Rama clinches his opponent.  Rama leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rama sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Arvelo switches the action to the outside.  Rama lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rama steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Rama clinches his opponent.  Rama leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Rama's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Rama attempts to land a right hook, but Arvelo parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rama drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  Rama wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Arvelo has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Rama lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS ARVELO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Arvelo quickly recovers. 
Arvelo connects with a left hook.

Arvelo switches the action to the outside.  Rama lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Rama pivots to the left of his opponent.  Arvelo throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Rama advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Rama gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rama ties up his opponent.  Rama leans on his opponent using all his weight. Rama tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Arvelo behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rama about fouling.  
Rama lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Arvelo switches the action to the outside.  Rama feints a cross, but Arvelo is not fooled and responds with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rama gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Rama forces Arvelo to retreat into the corner.  Rama sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Rama sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rama lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, DROPPING ARVELO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Rama is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rama hits home with a firm left hook.

Rama feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Arvelo.  Rama springs the trap and counters with  a solid left uppercut.  
Rama lands a firm right hook.  
Rama lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Rama manouvers Arvelo into the red corner.  Rama EXPLODES a spiteful left hook into his opponents face.  ARVELO IS DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Rama!
