Leon Coughlin vs Daniel Hall

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at University Arena, Limerick,  taking place on 21/11/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lethal Leon Coughlin (14(1) - 5) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Daniel Hall(2 - 10 - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  Both Coughlin and Hall weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Fylan, and the three ringside judges are Eoghan Healey, Evan Coghlan and Shamus Brogan.  

Round 1: 

Coughlin steps inside.  Coughlin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Coughlin throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Coughlin ties up his opponent.  Coughlin pushes his forearm into Hall's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Coughlin to stop fouling.  
Coughlin is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  Coughlin holds on to his opponent.  Coughlin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coughlin throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Coughlin clinches his opponent.  Coughlin throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Coughlin about fouling.  
Hall throws a left hook, but Coughlin clinches his opponent.  Coughlin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Coughlin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Coughlin steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  Coughlin holds on to his opponent.  Coughlin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Coughlin is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Coughlin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Coughlin holds on to his opponent.  Coughlin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hall behind the head. Coughlin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hall's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Coughlin.  
Coughlin lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Coughlin ties up his opponent.  Coughlin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hall's kidney. 
Coughlin steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Coughlin is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Coughlin connects with a left hook.  
Coughlin steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Hall steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Coughlin lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hall advances into close range.  Coughlin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As Hall tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Coughlin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Coughlin contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Hall throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Coughlin advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hall's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Hall sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Coughlin is on target with a sharp right hook.  Coughlin clinches his opponent.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Coughlin to stop holding.  
Hall tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Coughlin lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Coughlin closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Coughlin steps inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Coughlin lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hall steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Coughlin.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Coughlin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Hall is looking to close the distance.  Coughlin is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hall is on target with a left hook.  
Coughlin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Coughlin drives a solid left hook into Hall's liver.  Coughlin ties up his opponent.  Coughlin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Coughlin to stop holding.

Coughlin is on target with a stinging right uppercut to Hall's body.
