Santiago Arquilla vs Santiago Leandro

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 22/11/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Arquilla (19(13) - 2 - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Santiago Leandro(18 - 24(4) - 6) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Arquilla and Leandro weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Juliana, and the three ringside judges are Juan Corzo, Joaquin Mejia and Venacio Riquelme.  

Round 1: 

Arquilla is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Leandro's ribs.  Arquilla holds on to his opponent.  Arquilla is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Arquilla and breaks the clinch.  
Arquilla is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Arquilla feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Arquilla closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Arquilla ties up his opponent.  Arquilla tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leandro behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arquilla about fouling.  
Arquilla steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Arquilla clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Leandro pushes his forearm into Arquilla's face.  The referee warns Leandro and breaks the clinch.  
Arquilla tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Arquilla gets on the inside.  Arquilla pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arquilla retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Leandro is whaling away with hooks, but Arquilla keeps his defence tight.  
Arquilla is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arquilla lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Leandro is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Arquilla lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Arquilla is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Arquilla connects with a right hook.  Arquilla attempts to land a left hook, but Leandro sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Some sustained pressure from Arquilla could be enough to finish Leandro!  Arquilla connects with a big left hook.  LEANDRO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Arquilla lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND LEANDRO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not give Leandro the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Arquilla!
