Fo-hai Thieu vs Kaede Aki

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Kokugikan Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 08/12/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fo-hai Thieu (34(19) - 8(4)) who hails from Xian, China and Kaede Aki(24(7) - 5(2)) from Asahikawa, Japan.  Thieu weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces, while Aki weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Ide, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Nakamura, Michi Uyehara and Kyo Iwai.  

Round 1: 

Thieu advances into close range.  Thieu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Aki hits home with a cross.  
Thieu closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Thieu lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Thieu tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Aki tries to keep the action at long range.  Thieu attempts to land a cross, but Aki slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Thieu gets on the inside.  Aki retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Thieu tries to land a left uppercut, but Aki blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Thieu lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Thieu hits home with a right hook.

Thieu closes the distance.  Thieu is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  As Thieu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aki dabs at his face checking for damage.

Thieu gets on the inside.  Thieu drives a solid right hook into Aki's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aki dabs at his face checking for damage.

Thieu lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS AKI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Thieu is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Thieu is on target with a forceful right hook to Aki's ribs.  DOWN GOES AKI!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Aki now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Aki tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Aki's body.  
Thieu lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Thieu slams a DESTRUCTIVE left hook into his opponents liver.  AKI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE AKI CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Thieu!
