John Ruthven vs Rob Alcorn

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Kingston Woodhouse, Kingston,  taking place on 26/11/2040:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ruthven (6(2) - 3) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Rob Alcorn(8 - 7(1) - 3) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Ruthven and Alcorn weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Keough, and the three ringside judges are John French, Robert Smiley and Gareth Stater.  

Round 1: 

Ruthven tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Alcorn manouvers Ruthven onto the ropes.  Ruthven drives a stinging cross into Alcorn's body.  
Alcorn steps inside.  Alcorn sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ruthven lands a firm left hook.  Ruthven ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ruthven pushes his forearm into Alcorn's face.  The referee warns Ruthven and breaks the clinch.  
Alcorn gets on the inside.  Ruthven pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ruthven lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Ruthven holds on to his opponent.  Ruthven is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruthven is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a hard jab.  
Ruthven closes the distance.  Ruthven sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alcorn throws a right hook, but Ruthven holds on to his opponent.  Ruthven leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruthven is looking to close the distance.  Ruthven pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ruthven connects with a left hook.  Ruthven holds on to his opponent.  Ruthven is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
