Elderson Ezeugo vs Ogenyi Edomwonyi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kaduna Owoh, Kaduna,  taking place on 28/11/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elderson Ezeugo (11 - 23(1) - 3) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Ogenyi Edomwonyi(5 - 27(1) - 4) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Ezeugo weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces, while Edomwonyi weighed in at 249 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Ezenwaka, and the three ringside judges are Saad Baksh, Saad Baksh and William Vozor.  

Round 1: 

Ezeugo tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ezeugo is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Edomwonyi slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Edomwonyi gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Edomwonyi dabs at his face checking for damage.
