Sancho Manotoc vs Ramirez Tigas

Boxing Daily Report from the Kamao Promotions promoted show at Lapu-Lapu Awa, Lapu-Lapu,  taking place on 30/11/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sancho Manotoc (19 - 18(1) - 3) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Ramirez Tigas(21(4) - 7(3) - 1) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Both Manotoc and Tigas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Alviar, and the three ringside judges are Felix Tanopo, Cris Merida and David Makalintal.  

Round 1: 

Tigas lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Manotoc throws a left hook, but Tigas holds on to his opponent.  Manotoc uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Tigas's kidney. Manotoc is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
