Xavier Macasa vs Richie Cawilan

Boxing Daily Report from the Run Forficula promoted show at Alonte Sports Arena, Santa Rosa,  taking place on 02/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Macasa (13 - 24 - 2) who hails from Calamba, Philippines and Richie Cawilan(9 - 9(1) - 4) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Macasa and Cawilan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Balagtas, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Sicat, Ulises Puruganan and Gethin Malpaya.  

Round 1: 

Macasa switches the action to the outside.  Macasa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Cawilan closes the distance and lands a left hook.
