Zach Poku vs Sam Quartey

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Mohammadi, Kumasi,  taking place on 01/12/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zach Poku (30(11) - 15(4)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Sam Quartey(11 - 3 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Quartey weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kabonesa Dumashie, and the three ringside judges are Gethin Nkansah, Paul Kwakye and Louis Nkrumah.  

Round 1: 

Quartey switches the action to the outside.  Quartey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Poku is on target with a cross.
