Miguel Espinosa vs Ricardo Jiminez

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabwire Promotions promoted show at Asuncion Martinez, Asuncion,  taking place on 01/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Miguel Espinosa (14 - 16(2) - 2) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Ricardo Jiminez(17(13) - 3) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Espinosa and Jiminez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Lovato, and the three ringside judges are Montel Macias, Ricardo Rita and Diego Baez.  

Round 1: 

Jiminez advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jiminez attempts to land a left hook, but Espinosa slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jiminez closes the distance.  Jiminez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Espinosa throws a left hook, but Jiminez ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jiminez pushes his forearm into Espinosa's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
