Ian Imrie vs Duncan Evens

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Rurawhe, Christchurch,  taking place on 01/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Imrie (13 - 5(2) - 3) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Duncan Evens(4 - 5 - 5) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Imrie weighed in at 147 pounds, while Evens weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Neild, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Suite, Harry Callison and Richard Kier.  

Round 1: 

Evens gets on the inside.  Imrie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Evens connects with a left hook.  
Evens steps inside.  As Evens tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Imrie dabs at his face checking for damage.
