Carlos Garcia vs Vegas Pestana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Hotel El Convento, Leon,  taking place on 04/12/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nicaragua-Leon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Garcia (25 - 14(4) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Vegas Pestana(19(7) - 0) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Both Garcia and Pestana weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cuesta, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Parras, Juan Pan and Rio Zaragoza.  

Round 1: 

Pestana lands with a hard jab.  
Garcia is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Garcia feints a right, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Garcia advances into close range.  Pestana attempts to land a right uppercut, but Garcia dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Pestana gets on the inside and lands a firm right hook.  
Garcia tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right.  
Pestana is looking to close the distance.  Garcia is on target with a left hook.  
Pestana lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Pestana gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pestana cuts off the ring, trapping Garcia in a corner.  Pestana sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
