David Kaller vs Phil Ewens

Boxing Daily Report from the Simuunza Promotions promoted show at Gethin Nicholson Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/12/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Kaller (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Phil Ewens(13 - 3) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Kaller and Ewens weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Streblow, and the three ringside judges are Greg Pelle, Zachary Mattus and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Ewens connects with a right hook.  
Ewens cuts off the ring, trapping Kaller in the blue corner.  Ewens digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.
