Kai Edwards vs Sammy MacConnell

Boxing Daily Report from the Zulu Promotions promoted show at Vincent McCorquodale Gym, Virginia Beach,  taking place on 06/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kai Edwards (7 - 2 - 2) who hails from Norfolk, USA and Sammy MacConnell(15(6) - 10 - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Both Edwards and MacConnell weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Scott, and the three ringside judges are Thomas Miller, Waleed Mady and Dan Whalen.  

Round 1: 

MacConnell steps inside.  MacConnell lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
