Kenji Ueda vs Takeshi Izumi

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Sendai International Center Main Hall, Sendai,  taking place on 15/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Tokyo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Ueda (29(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeshi Izumi(11 - 7 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Ueda and Izumi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Koyanagi, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Sando, Hideki Oki and Raiden Matsui.  

Round 1: 

Ueda steps inside.  Ueda steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Izumi steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
