Joe Ruane vs Patrick Kemp

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Washington promoted show at Seattle Acker, Seattle,  taking place on 06/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Washington Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Ruane (11 - 9(4) - 3) who hails from Seattle, USA and Patrick Kemp(23(4) - 3(1)) from Tacoma, USA.  Both Ruane and Kemp weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Lyne, and the three ringside judges are John Sundy, Jay Aries and Jack Balch.  

Round 1: 

Kemp advances into close range and drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  Kemp clinches his opponent.  Ruane is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kemp is on target with a right hook.  
Kemp lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Kemp lands with a hard jab.  
Kemp advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kemp manages to force Ruane into a corner.  Kemp hits home with a left hook.  Kemp ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kemp pushes his forearm into Ruane's face.  The referee warns Kemp and breaks the clinch.  
Kemp lands a right hook.  Kemp clinches his opponent.  Kemp leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kemp's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  As Ruane tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kemp dabs at his face checking for damage.
