Alec Mahoney vs Gareth McAdam

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at Kingston Park Stadium, Newcastle,  taking place on 22/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Northern England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alec Mahoney (9(6) - 0) who hails from Blackburn, UK and Gareth McAdam(16(4) - 4(2)) from York, UK.  Both Mahoney and McAdam weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Llywelyn, and the three ringside judges are Daniel McPhillips, Bryn Dunn and Russell Gwilym.

Mahoney lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MCADAM!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  He doesnt look in good shape though! McAdam is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Mahoney!
