Dai Bellamy vs Ian Szczepaniak

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oklahoma promoted show at Tulsa Mulryan, Tulsa,  taking place on 09/12/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Oklahoma Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Bellamy (6 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Ian Szczepaniak(31 - 11(6) - 1) from Tulsa, USA.  Both Bellamy and Szczepaniak weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Galatas, and the three ringside judges are Douglas McCowan, Dave Watterson and Roger Newburn.  

Round 1: 

Szczepaniak pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Szczepaniak dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Szczepaniak.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
