Alvino Armijo vs Cipriano Barrero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Apollo, San Jose,  taking place on 13/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alvino Armijo (26(4) - 21(3) - 2) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Cipriano Barrero(18(17) - 6(4) - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Armijo weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Barrero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sierra Abela, and the three ringside judges are Oro Serbin, Macario Gabaldon and Agapetus Magdaleno.
