Lorcan Fitzgerald vs George Tobin

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Dalian Sports Centre Arena, Dalian,  taking place on 01/12/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lorcan Fitzgerald (0 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and George Tobin(15 - 9(3)) from Glasgow, UK.  Fitzgerald weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces, while Tobin weighed in at 112 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kong Kane, and the three ringside judges are Fo-hsing Liao, Jin Mak and Deshi Ngai.  

Round 1: 

Fitzgerald lands a cross.

Tobin snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.

Fitzgerald steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fitzgerald knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Fitzgerald lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS TOBIN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Tobin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fitzgerald gets on the inside.  Fitzgerald pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Tobin's ribcage.  
Fitzgerald manages to force Tobin onto the ropes.  Tobin lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Fitzgerald quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tobin lands a left uppercut.  
Tobin steps inside.  Fitzgerald lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Fitzgerald holds on to his opponent.  Fitzgerald pushes his forearm into Tobin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fitzgerald.  
Tobin throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Fitzgerald ties up his opponent.  Fitzgerald leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fitzgerald pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Fitzgerald advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Fitzgerald is on target with a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tobin's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Fitzgerald steps away from his opponent.  Fitzgerald feints a jab, tricking Tobin into throwing a left hook counter.  Fitzgerald springs the trap, countering with  a left hook to Tobin's body.  
Fitzgerald advances into close range.  Tobin throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Fitzgerald ties up his opponent.  Fitzgerald leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fitzgerald is on target with a right uppercut.  
Tobin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Fitzgerald drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Fitzgerald steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Fitzgerald holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Tobin pushes his forearm into Fitzgerald's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Tobin quickly recovers. 
Fitzgerald strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.  
Fitzgerald lands a left hook.  
Fitzgerald closes the distance.  Fitzgerald pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tobin attempts to land a left hook, but Fitzgerald blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Fitzgerald is on target with a powerful cross.  TOBIN IS HURT!  Fitzgerald attempts to land a cross, but Tobin blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  Tobin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tobin tries to land a jab, but Fitzgerald dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Fitzgerald sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fitzgerald steps inside and manages to force Tobin into the red corner.  Fitzgerald digs in a solid right hook to Tobin's body.  
Fitzgerald lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Fitzgerald steps away from his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Fitzgerald hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Fitzgerald steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Fitzgerald tries to land a left hook, but Tobin blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fitzgerald is looking to close the distance.  Tobin attempts to land a right hook, but Fitzgerald sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE TOBIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Tobin recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
