Cipriano Yanes vs Frisco Vinal

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Maduro, Montevideo,  taking place on 16/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cipriano Crucificador Yanes (57(46) - 12(5)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Frisco Vinal(7 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Yanes weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces, while Vinal weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Bacallao, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Mazariegos, Roman Bilbao and Iago Ramon.  

Round 1: 

Vinal closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Yanes drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Yanes drives a solid jab into Vinal's body.  
Vinal advances into close range and lands a left hook.  Vinal tries to land a right hook, but Yanes blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vinal forces Yanes to retreat onto the ropes.  Yanes connects with a solid left hook.  
Yanes lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Yanes hits home with a cross.  
Vinal is looking to close the distance.  Yanes hits home with a left hook.  
Vinal forces Yanes to back into the ropes.  Vinal is on target with a left uppercut.  
Yanes tries to keep the action at long range.  Yanes is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Vinal tries to land a cross, but Yanes sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Yanes steps away from his opponent and lands a firm overhand right.  
Vinal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yanes is on target with a right hook.  
Yanes steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Yanes feints a cross, and then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Yanes lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Yanes steps to the outside.  Yanes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Vinal steps inside.  Yanes drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Yanes tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  Yanes tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Yanes lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Vinal gets on the inside.  The right shot from Yanes could be enough to force the stoppage!  Yanes lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Vinal now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Yanes switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vinal's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Vinal's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Vinal's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Yanes is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Vinal is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  Vinal attempts to land a left hook, but Yanes sidesteps and counters with a weighty right uppercut to Vinal's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE VINAL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Vinal quickly recovers. 
Yanes lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Vinal connects with a cross.  
Vinal closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Vinal.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Yanes tries to keep the action at long range.  Vinal sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Yanes lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Yanes tries to land a cross, but Vinal parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Yanes is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Yanes lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Yanes!
