Baltasar Garcia vs Juan Vejar

Boxing Daily Report from the Chigaga Promotions promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Avendano, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 17/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Baltasar Garcia (8 - 8 - 2) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Juan Vejar(30 - 18(1) - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Garcia weighed in at 112 pounds and 8 ounces, while Vejar weighed in at 112 pounds.    As Garcia came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Bermudez, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rosero, Quico Gudino and Diego Marcia.  

Round 1: 

Vejar is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Garcia throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Garcia retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Vejar tries to tag Garcia on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Garcia is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Vejar hits home with an overhand right.
