Xabat Aparicio vs Juan Osegueda

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Managua Venegas, Managua,  taking place on 16/12/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xabat Aparicio (42(36) - 7(7)) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Juan Osegueda(13(3) - 1(1)) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Aparicio weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Osegueda weighed in at 134 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gig Rave, and the three ringside judges are Alano Pio, Agapetus Velazco and Joaquin Mosso.  

Round 1: 

Osegueda steps inside.  Aparicio pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aparicio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Aparicio throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Aparicio's ribs.  
Aparicio digs in a right hook to Osegueda's ribcage.  
Osegueda gets on the inside.  Aparicio drives a solid left hook into Osegueda's body.  
Aparicio connects with a BRUTAL left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE OSEGUEDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Osegueda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Aparicio strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.  Aparicio tries to land a jab, but Osegueda slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Aparicio advances into close range.  Osegueda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Aparicio is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Aparicio is looking to close the distance and whips in a nasty right hook to Osegueda's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OSEGUEDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Osegueda almost instantly recovers. 
Osegueda drives a left hook into Aparicio's body.  
Aparicio tries to land a right hook, but Osegueda blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Aparicio sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Osegueda throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Aparicio time to recover.  
Osegueda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Aparicio lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Aparicio hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Aparicio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Aparicio is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Aparicio gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND OSEGUEDA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Osegueda quickly recovers. 
Osegueda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Aparicio lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Aparicio pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Osegueda's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Osegueda's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Osegueda's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Aparicio is looking to force the stoppage!  Aparicio SLAMS a mean right hook into his opponents face.  OSEGUEDA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Osegueda now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
